Hydrogen peroxide vapour (HPV) fumigation or fogging, is a rapid, flexible chemical mist process which uses an effective disinfection chemical blend containing at least 30% hydrogen peroxide.
HPV has a proven efficacy against a wide range of pathogens. This method is highly effective at disinfecting surfaces in buildings or on transportation but requires ongoing product and staff costs. As such, one needs to be aware of the economics of solely using just this chemical form of short-term Covid-security solution.
These methods of fumigation must only be carried out by competent personnel.
Please Contact Us if you require this short-term intervention or if it’s your preferred intervention after an infection incident. Our team will advise on standard practices and post-fumigation measures that must be put in place for up to 48 hours after the service because HPV could still be airborne and could cause short and long term respiratory issues if our procedures and recommendation are not strictly followed.
We advise that HPV fumigation should only be used as short term emergency intervention and should not be factored into regular cleaning procedure.
